reasons behind ketamine being highly available in the UK but not in the US

Ketamine is so big in the UK and is nearly available everywhere however in the US its a rare commodity, why is that? also would like to ask people living in the UK about the availability of heroin, cocaine, mdma powder(not pills) and rohypnol <- (practically non existant in the US).. what does the average dealer usually stack? not asking for sources, places or anything just the ease of obtaining these substances in London.. planning a trip in june..

 

in the US ketamine is not the most highly restricted drug, but due to its reputation is almost exclusively relegated to veterinary use. it is legal to prescribe for humans, but is almost never prescribed. i dont know about the UK, but i know in the US it is very much a "scene" drug, and its readily accessible to certain people in certain circles, but if you aren't in the in-group then its very, very uncommon.

 

all i know is that this bitch from england said she could get it at $20!!!

 

id think alot of the k in england is stolen from vets and other places it may be such as hospitals. it is common in the uk though, but as nesta said you have to know where to look.

it took me quite awhile to find k where i am in the US. its jus not most americans cup of tea IMO. i still dont have ne1 locally to get it from. i have to drive an hour to a city. most ppl around here think its a dirty drug and should never be taken.

 

yeah i hear u... when i used to live in canada ive never looked for ketamine or mentioned its name to my dealer simply for the fact that i was sure he doesnt have it.... so he comes to my house once, i was online (erowid.com) reading about ketamine, i pointed my finger towards the screen and said "could u get me this"... he said "yeah, but ima get it for you once only, this drug ruins ur life it fucks u up, i dnt want any horror stories"... the point is that dealer used to get me heroin n cocaine n talked about ketamine like its the worst of the worst! so yeah i knw what ur sayin... now, livin in the middle east, i can get it anytime i want cuz my friend's dad own the biggest horse stable in the country .. dunno but ketamine is a very weird drug... i mean to be a k head, instead of a junkie, tweaker, alcoholic, say alot about ur personality lol.. k fiends r interesting! they keep on doing K for different reason than regular addicts... heroin, coke, meth, alcohol addicts all chase chemical euphoria wich is understandable, k heads chase travelling through time , leaving their bodies, meeting aliens and turning into the couch theyre starin on! lsd takes u to a place u knw but never been too! ketamine takes u to a place u dnt knw... the nearest feeling to a death experience a human can attain in life is a k hole! a k hole is a glipmse of the other side... The cheapest i can get k for is 80 a gram. im sure there are online dealers somewhere though.

Ketamine is big in the UK nearly every dealer i have encountered has it, it usually sells between £15 - £25 per gram. Coke and MDMA powder are also fairly easy to obtain price range between £30 - £60 per gram. Most dealers will stock all 3 as they are common club scene drugs.

I have never encountered anyone who sells heroin though, and im not to bothered by that as it doesnt appeal to me a great deal . Never come across rohypnol either and never considered taking it as its known as a "date rape" drug near me.

*Oh should any law enforcment iggy: be reading this.. i dont take drugs or deal them, the above is just a figament of my imagination and in no way incriminating or to be taken as fact.

 

K is not really an easy drug to find in the US if you aren't in the "jam scene"...but once you are there its very plentiful. A lot of its coming from overseas for dirt cheap and being sold for up to 100/g on the scene.

I personally wouldn't pay more than 60/g street prices and normally pay 15/g tops for bulk.

K is a pretty interesting drug I seem to like it alot and i live in us thanks guys and I cant really compare it to any other dr*g

 

K is everywhere in the UK, i can get it as easy as i can get weed, only £15 a gram too and its always pure as its cooked up fresh from a bottle, such a nice drug and if used in moderation is one of the safest drugs to use, its practicly impossible to OD on, you K hole way before reaching any near dangerous amounts and its still used in hospitals in the UK too.

 

I'm from the UK and K has risen in popularity over the last 3-4 years in my opinion. It is now very easy to obtain, especially if you know the right scene. The most popular scene it is associated with is the minimal-techno club scene, clubs around London, Leeds etc. It's normally obtained for as little as £15 per gram and as high as £25.

The 'date-rape' drug you mention is known as GHB in the UK. Not as widely available as K but again, if you know the right people in the right scene it's very easy to get. This usually comes in small incense bottles and is put into the clubbers drink. Personally, this is one of the most dangerous drugs around and it has the worst taste imaginable (like drinking a cup of sweat!!) Many people who take too much of this will experience 'going under'.

 

Happy UK men... in Canada and France it's much more difficult to get some... and web scammers are taking benefits of the situation....

 

Definitly a 'scene' drug on east coast. It's around but easier to find at clubs and fests. Probally accounts for the slight higher prices.
