i just rolled up a big fat spliff

probably the first "proper" spliff i'll ever smoke. hand rolled into a cone, two papers, with fresh american spirit perique rolling tobacco mixed with some sticky, funky dense nugs well broken up. it's about 50/50 mix. i'll let it sit for a while before smoking it so both the bud and tobacco dry out just a little bit and burn a little better. this tobacco is fresh enough though that it won't burn too fast for the weed, which is the problem i've always had in the past with tobacco taken from tailormades

rolled a nice little cardboard "filter" tip for the mouthpiece. this will be fun to take up to the train tracks or something

i thought you were trying to conserve though? i always say that to myself, but it seems like the more i say it the more i crave a blunt/joint haha

 

well, i am trying to conserve it pretty well, but i couldnt get a bag and not roll at least one obligatory joint or blunt, and a joint is much more conservative. especially since i rolled it big enough, but not huge, and i had tobacco to cut it with which burns slow enough to mix them. this should work perfectly, and there's only about a bowl's worth of pot in it. and its some tasty, tasty strong weed, so its all good



not a masterpiece, but pretty good i'd say. functional if not beautiful

That looks like a nice spliff.
There's something about smoking a spliff that is more enjoyable than smoking a bowl, to me at least.

i wish i could just smoke in my room, so i could enjoy it with a nice big mug of tea with sugar and milk and stuff. that would be a very, very nice way to end the day.

 

I have never mixed weed and tobacco. Doesn't it cancel out the wonderful taste f marijuana? I can defintely see it being worth it, if you don't have enough to roll a joint with just weed though, because sometimes it's just nice to smoke a joint or, in this case, a spliff.

haha i have not mastered the cone technique yet... mine sometimes end up like reverse cones and i'm like dammit.

 

I've only just learned how to roll cones, and it's not too hard. I can't do it free-handed though. I have to lay it on a table and roll and tuck, but it always ends up as a PERFECT cone. lol I even rolled a cone blunt a few weeks ago.

 

Hmm, it looks nice. I wouldn't smoke a tobacco joint though.

50/50 mix? sounds kinda gross. i like adding just a little pinch of tobacco for flavor. not enough to change the way you have to hit it.

 

the guy i was seeing in the summer told me that when he was like... 15 or so some older gay guy would pay him to weigh out bags for him.

it's kind of creepy in his situation but besides that i was like.. wtf that sounds like the best job ever.

 

well its REALLY strong pot and i've been smoking rollies a lot anyway lately, so it won't be too much tobacco. there's like a cigarette's worth of tobacco in it and about a bowl pack of weed. it should be fine.

got up this morning, showered, hiked up to the smoking spot and had it for breakfast. had to watch some sealab and take a nap

i'm back up now. that was a good joint lol....

the tobacco and pot should have been mixed better, though.
