I believe most of you here realize what's at stake during Tuesday's geneal election. We are living in very dangerous and unstable times under the control of an administration who seek's war over Peace and has helped to create an extreamly dangerous and ustable condition in the middle east with no hope of Peace in sight for perhaps decades if Bush remains in office. Please for the sake of our children if nothing else; because he's spending there future. Please vote for John Kerry on election day. So we can begin to rebuild the numerous shattered relationships with our allies. And also so we can begin a new course of rebuilding three nations Iraq,Afghanistan and the United States. Peace out man and vote!

If you want smart bombs vote for George Bush.
If you want smart children vote for John Kerry.

Oh a storm is threatening my very life today
If I don't get some shelter, oh yeah, I'm going to fade away

War, children, it's just a shot away, it's just a shot away

Ooh, see the fire sweeping our very streets today
Burns like a red coal carpet, mad bull lost his way

Rape, murder, it's just a shot away (yeah), it's just a shot away

The floods is threatening my very life today
Gimme, gimme shelter or I'm going to fade away

It's just a shot away... I tell you love, sister, it's just a kiss away, it's just a kiss away
    It's just a kiss away...

Yeah... I've been following MoveOn's support and I've been on their mailing list for quite some time. Wish they had more political things near me.... I wish Kerry would stop by VA again so I could get to see him.

    Bruce Springstein is a stud.

I still stand by my original decision: Ralph Nader.

Of course, I'm not voting so it really doesn't matter. :(

I think Nader is ok... as far as policy goes. But you can tell a lot from a personality... Unfortunately, I never liked his.

And Bush's personality... I don't even have to say anything about that.

The fact is... third parties never win.

Nader is okay as a person, and an Advocate for the people. He always has been. But, a President, must know ALL of the U.S'es most BASIC laws and he/she must FOLLOW them to be successful.

A vote is never wasted if you vote for the candidate whom you think is the BEST, not the one whom you think will just get Bush out of office.

But on a lighter note, I like your sig.

A vote is wasted when it's spent on someone,or something that just doesn't stand a chance in hell of winning.Getting bush out right now is imperitive.Third or forth parties can come into their own at a later date, imho.Peace

I think voting is a form of expressing your opinion. To think of a vote, one that is cast as you believe, as wasted is about the same as saying your opinion shouldn't count. I think the only way to waste a vote is to not cast it. But that's just my opinion.

Here's a little something I've put into a couple other threads:

Why we should all get out & vote:

The price good men pay for indifference to public affairs is to be ruled by evil men. - Plato

Remember? I voted for him. For the young among us. Pat was a regular on the Smothers Brothers comedy hour TV show. And during the summer of 1968 he [along with the shows producer] decided that running for president sounded like a good idea. So he entered the race and almost won using one of the highest rated [and most controversial] shows on television during that time;as a spring board. If memory serves me two of his campain slogans were "down with everything" and "me first"...;)

Joshua Mr. Paulson was a liberal comedian first and a fake politican second. All of this was done for laughs and to make fun of politicans and our election process in general. I was being factious when I said that I had voted for him. Remember this was all a political parody...;)
