this is my first female plant, she has a few flaws im concerned with, and i would like to know if they are a hazard to her health or minor problems with simple solutions. it's being grown under a regular 60 watt light and seems to respond nicely, and the only water i use is bottled water. the first is this leaf, is this normal behavior as the plant grows? second is the slight discoloration in the top leaves. how can this be fixed/prevented?
your first step would be to get more light, go to your local hardware store and pick up a 40watt compact florescent bulb, in the 10-14$ range. this is a quick and cheap fix but u will notice a differance in days. also try to have your plant as close to the light as u can, around 4-6'' is good, closer if u have a fan on her. u will probably need more than one bulb when u want to flower. have u given her any fertilizer?
