what was your inspiration

i always wanted to ask this so what was your reason for getting dreads?

I got dreads so I could come see people start a million "why d'ya get dreads?" threads

 

wow, a million, only 999998.5 to go.

 

ok so i didnt see the other thread about about the reason got dreads dont roast me for it

 

That wasn't a roasting, and I wouldn't worry too much. They're only being sarcastic, it happens all the time. No big deal....

 

They aren't roasting yet....

i knew amy bird was being sarcastic she seem like the type that can give satan heatstroke

 

in the 9th grade i had a art project that we were assigned and i didn't have anything that i wanted to do it on. the teacher i had would play Bob Marley in class and i saw some images he had on his desk, i asked if i could do my project of those images. he said yes, the first image i did was in chalk and the dreads just was awesome looking in the image. this is the image



then the second image we had to do in pastels. this image is the image that made me start thinking about one day having my own dreads. this is the image



then finally we had to take a third image and do it with watercolor. after doing all three images, i decided that some day i too would have dreads. these three images was what planted the seed in me to one day get me some locks. well 6 years later i am starting on that process!

but jonathen davis is the heart of korn.. his voice makes my heart melt lol

in 2006 i saw this band live, his dreads looked awesome on stage, i did try about three backcomb dreads then but undone then due to work, i'm sure i might have a pic or two somewhere of it

 

post it i wanna see! but HIM is a horrible live performane in my opinion mikko and his dreads help but they just stand and ville just walks with acohol in his hand
