I got my U2 tickets for October's concert in Tampa. Best birthday present ever! Can't wait to go! Anybody else planning to attend this tour?
Not me. Cant stand U2. A typical 3 chord band who has no business being in the music business. A typical band who showed what the decline of music in the 80's was all about.uke::beatdeadhorse5:
Yikes, enjoy! I was thinking about going to see them in Berlin, but I only like the "old U2", not "the U2 of 21st century".. but it doesn't matter. Have fun.
Well... thanks for that.... Okay, now responses that I care about... Fuuunia - I like all the different carnations of U2, I kinda see them somewhat as different bands. I like the different albums for different reasons.
That's cool. They've really changed and I somehow realized I don't get their stuff anymore. Bono's become way too much political and idealistic which I simply can not take anymore. It's very nice to see someone cares about Africa and such, but it seems to me he's more idealistic, than practical. But as I said, have fun I remember when I got my first ticket to the rolling stones gig... I couldn't talk about anything else for a few months...
They have been my favorite band for as long as I can remember. This is a huge thing for me. I'm sure my family and friends are already sick of hearing about it, and it hasn't even been a week. Bono can kind of irk people with his political side. But the man sure knows how to put on a performance. And what a voice.
Sure, sure, everyone's different. Again, ENJOY! how about the place? Is it the "front of stage" ticket? I hope it is.
They're kinda crap. But the point was to get in. They were a gift and I wasn't expecting front row. But I figure, I'll try and buy some better tickets later on when I have some more money. But even if I can't, at least I'll be there. You lucky devil! My cousin's husband saw their first concert in America. Now that would've been something to see. But alas, I was not yet born.
