Hey guys, I haven't been around these parts of the web in quite a while, but I figured if anyone could help me out with this it would be here.

So with the incredible amount of people who will be mobbing LiveNation to get Phish tickets and the incredible amount that LiveNation sucks, I figured me and my buddies would go camp out on the sidewalk for a couple of nights to get tickets at the box office.

Our plan is basically this: Three of us are gonna be camping out there, but one of us has an apartment nearby, so two of us will probably be hanging out and then the third can get some sleep. Plus my friend with the apartment has work and school. Would that be really rude or piss people off to work the line in shifts like that? I mean, we're not going to call our friends in the last day and let ten people cut us or anything like that, but will our neighbors in line get pissy if we take shifts like that?

Also, we're planning on getting there thursday afternoon/evening, tickets go on sale saturday morning. I'm sure we won't be the first ones there, but that should be early enough to get a ticket, right?

Any other tips for waiting a few days for tix?

Here in Vegas, they stopped that sort of thing by handing out wrist bands and then there is sort of a lottery for tickets. But if wherever you are hasnt adopted that system yet, then when you are snoozin in line, just write on a piece of cardboard that this spot is for 6 people or whatever, and make sure that is visible, and no one can say anything. Thats what we used to do back in the day, the day being the 70's. Where do you live, Bedrock? LOL

Just north of Boston, not sure I get the Bedrock reference...

I think there is a lottery system that the box office is going to use, but I was under the impression (and I'll call them this week to find out) that there would still be tickets available after the lottery, so even if you're at the front of the line and the lottery skips over you there is still a good chance to get tickets. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't faux par to have people in my group come in and out of the line to go sleep on a couch somewhere. Thanks for the tip though!
