Violence and disease are the inevitable results of a complex and advanced society. It is a way to keep it in balance. There are many reasons for this. Agree or disagree? A friendly discussion to protest human nature as something we should evolve from.
You can't evolve from human nature, hence the term, human "nature". I think most of today's problems is a disconnect between buyers and sellers. If there were no middlemen in the world's monetary transactions, I think we'd have a world with much less exploitation. I think we can have a peaceful advanced society, as long as it is the center focus from the ground up.
Human nature is a redundant statement. Humans ARE nature. For that matter... There is no such thing as human... Just as there is no such thing as a camera, a television, a photograph.... keyboards do not enter information... To name things so generally is to belittle the individual creation! There is no forest... saying tree is belittling the leaves, which calling something a leaf is belittling the cells that compose it... etc etc. I speak of oneness. We must only remind ourselves of this... remind ourselves that there is no seperation of self and else... there is only self... for we are not parts of humanity - I am me, and all else is similar. The only problem is self, the only solution is self... therein lies the balance you seek - it has nothing to do with violence or disease or kissing or dancing. We are *internally* ying and yang, to say that a kiss on one side of the world must mean a shooting on the other... thats to not understand the importance of self We COULD all live peacefully... the world would still be in one piece without war - consider the possibility, consider how the original post contradicts such a simple truth.
I agree with everything thats been said. But as a matter of perspective. Since not all of existance acts in those parameters. Mainly humans. Even the assumption that the way we act is in fact creating the balance and harmony that is "IS", there is still an idea of something more effective that will lead to more PEACE. Should we assume that all will WILL its way to its rightful place (which i will not choose a position on at this time), or should we try to break away from this idea, and take existance into our own hands (and perhaps only worsen of situation) *but being our decision create the existance in which IS?
