I feel so tired of refusing a fattie when its being passed my direction, I just dont like pot. I do really stand out everywhere I go where people burn. I feel like I bear this label at every party, and I actually am certain of it, because at times I used to smoke I overheard a lot of stories from my friends who looked down upon people who didnt smoke. well now I have become one of those people. Shame on society !!!! sorry for venting.
i don't know anyone that looks down on others for not toking. it's not like you disapprove. i have a couple friends that don't burn, and even though we all know it, it's habit to pass it to them... a simple "i'm good" is all it takes... so do you take psychedelics, since it's in the psych forum? post this in the stoner's lounge and you'll prob get more replies
well i was just thinkind you know... its a drug nevertheless thats why its on the main board im not too big on psychedelics either.... maybe shrooms is all id ever take.... and btw i feel a little better after your reply, but unfortunately even simple "weed is the best" makes me feel like im not included around the table... hard to explain i dont smoke it anymore because i think it has had a lot of negative effect on couple of people who are very close to me, and i known them for a long time by now, they had always smoked pot and i just think they changed for the worse because of it
depends on the user. smoking pot everyday gets old me at least as i find im always tired, burnt out and have no energy. Like any drug, if used responsibly, it shouldnt negativley change your life
i dunno what else to tell ya man, it's never been a problem in my circle of friends. so are you saying when you pass on the bowl someone will say "c'mon weed is the best"? just respond with "yea, i used to smoke, but it's not for me anymore. it's cool that you guys do though, it's not like i'm judging you..." and there you have it, you're included in the conversation.
Wow it sounds like you know some very mature and open minded people! Not wanting to smoke around people that do really does suck. I feel your pain! Im not gonna give you any advise because I haven't really learned to deal with it well myself but I just wanted to say I empathize with you big time.
yea, you should just squint your eyes and be like "I AM SOO HIGH hahahah!" and people will be giving you high fives left and right, they wont even notice you didn't smoke.
maybe you guys are giving off a vibe that smoking pisses you off, so it makes the smokers uncomfortable and therefore they seem to look down on you. i would say, sit right in the circle (if that doesn't bug you) and just pass on the bowl (or what ever). hang out with em and have a good time (you don't have to act high) and talk. they should be happy if someone walks over to the smoking circle (especially at a party where almost everyone does) and doesn't smoke. more weed for them and if none of that works, just ask them what their problem is. tell them you just don't like smoking, it's not for everyone, but you don't care that they smoke. and if they are dicks, tell them that too. they shouldn't be peer pressuring you to smoke pot, that's fucking stupid.
lmao but honestly, theres a good reason I dont smoke pot, like for example last weekend, I lent my exhusband 300 cash to get his shit from the pawnshop, and he friggin smoked a whole bunch of pot and forgot where he put the money... he havent found them yet to my best knowledge.... he gets it from his mom tho, his whole family always smoked and will smoke.... well that kind of behaviour my friend, is a good reason not to make it a habitual thing... lol
thats sounds fishy...he lost the money? maybe he spent it on drugs or needed it for somethin else and didnt wanna tell you...i know when i was doin dope i would "borrow" money to get my shit from the pawn shop, and then spend it all on dope and give some lame excuse like..i lost it.. but i dont know your ex, maybe hes a good guy, maybe hes bein honest...just sounds sketchy
i honestly believe he put the money somewhere "safe" and now he cant find it... he has his violin, amp and guitar in the pawnshop, and he definitely wants them back but hes a pothead, he will never find the money now, plus he was doing some drinking on the weekend..... on the other note, people still pass fatties my direction but im a lot more loose about it, i dont smoke still, just pass them along and converse with the folks and have an alright time !!
