Unfortunately, I can't remember the last time something truly warmed my heart. God. Now I'm depressed.

 

The last time someone warmed my heart was three weeks ago. We had a celebration after church including food and cake. One of the brothers took it upon himself to cut and pass out slices. When he came to me, I declined. He insisted that I try a piece and finally I gave in. Since I was fasting, I told him that I would have to take it home and save it for later that night. Not only did he wrap it up nicely for me, but he also gave me an extra slice.

One of the guys I live with, made me breakfast this morning. That was really sweet.

 

Yes... there is just something about a cute, skinny boy insisting a fat girl eat cake, and proceeding to give her two slices.

Strangers, I think, generally find me creepy looking. I always try to be polite and say "hello" to them and they all stare at me like I'm speaking another language. They're sometimes polite, but never overly nice or special. My friends generally even don't make me smile. Although, here lately there has been somebody that it makes me just oh-so happy to talk to.

last night was the first time Kai got to go trick or treating. but it was freezing, so i had her in a warm up suit, a big furry jackets, then her fairy costume over it. she looked like a really fat little fairy, it was so cute. and as me and gina were holding her hands, she was running and jumping and laughing, so totally excited by the whole thing. it was so silly.

i do have pics, but i can't upload them. it's making me crazy. my digi camera is getting overloaded with pictures and i can't get them to a computer. i'm going back to the 35mm. i'll get a scanner. fuck it. she was SO CUTE!!

she's a precious girl. so sweet. gina took some pictures of kai with ireland, this aboslutely adorable baby niece wearing a midieval princess hat and balerina costume. ireland is only just able to sit up, a little chub of a baby. so sweet.

 

Today I got a message from a guy I had a spa with last friday telling me he had a great time and that I am just so damm sexy.

 

Once I was at work and I was helping a spanish couple that didnt speak engilsh too well. I complented the wife on her sterling silver ring which was just awesome! I said "I love your ring!" The husband said something to his wife in spanish and she took the ring off and gave it to me and said "happy valentines day" (it was valentines). I was floored. A few months later I lost the ring, but soon after found another one in a head shop exactly like it. I wear it everyday.

 

Anytime I talk to or get an email from my friend Caleb I get all happy and fuzzie...I like him..and hes such a sweety pie
