How to get my color back.

I cleaned my pipe awhile back in a alcohol solution, but now all my nice colors are gone and it turned into a purple, orange, brown turd. Its a matte or rough finish, so I think that's why it did it. Any ideas for how to clean it and bring back the old rainbow?

 

Well, if it was something the rubbing alcohol did, than it was a chemical reaction, and there's probably no way to reverse it. Some pipes are supposed to change over time, but there supposed to change into something equally cool, and not a brown turd. Theres a spot on my bubbler that came up over time, I'm not sure if it was from cleaning it, but its a bluish blob on the bottom, where its supposed to be a light yellow.

 

smoke more weed.the resin is what makes the glass change color,im pretty sure its the resin heating up...if you want to completely clean it boil it with rice inside the piece, the rice expands and sucks up all the leftover resin.then you can take the squishy rice outand reclean it with alcohol.i would only suggest this method if the piece isnt too complicated to menuever around inside.
