    nice, i've thought about something like this it since i was like 8 or so. only i wondered that maybe we live in some giant's tummy and we are like little ants and that the giant even doesn't know we're here.

    There was a time when humans most knowledgeable members thought that if you called on the right spirits, chanted and struck two rocks together you could start a fire. As human knowledge progressed, we learned that it wasn't magic, and had nothing to do with the chanting or the spirits.. it was simply a reaction between flint and iron.

    That is how science and magic merge. Today, we are delving both further out into the universe and further inside ourselves and surroundings. As we discover new information, and new ways of processing that information, we will eventually be able to do anything that magic has been said to do.

    Two thoughts to go along with it;

    Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.
    - A.C. Clarke

    and

    Just because we can't label and measure something, does not mean it isn't real.

    I also believe that all form of life come from leaving fresh cheese unwrapped in your pockets for too long... Although maybe, I should just stick around with how the universe is perceived depending on the perspective...

    i'm just wondering, why this solar system thing is so accepted by everyone else? this thing should be studied at school more, to help children wide their thoughts and stuff.

    Nature mirrors itself in different sizes. An atom isn't so different from a solar system.

    On a more personal level, this is a theory I read in a book on witchcraft: When we dream, there are lots of different characters whom we assume are acting of their own accord, but who are ultimately our own creation. Our universe is much the same, in that we are humans acting and thinking of our own accord, but ultimately we were the creation of the universe (whether its god or science to you).

    Nature is overflowing with patterns.
