    im looking for something new to listen to with alot of percussion. any suggestions?

    Badmarsh & Shri - Dancing drums! There was another thread that had kind of the same topic I think but I can't find it anymore...

    You should hunt some Mike Dillon...he plays vibraphone with Les Claypool if you want some rock influenced percussion vibes...he also has a number of other projects, Garage A Trois is a good one.

    And Zilla is another good band to check out. Jamie Janover plays a hammer dulcimer, which is a fantastic percussion like instrument. It is almost a celtic sound harp that you play with little hammers/sticks....he also plays various other percussion instruments as well...Zilla...their album Circle Crop Brain Factory Vol. 1 is outstanding, along with the other albums as well...(their self titled is a good one, Egg, and All Iz are all epic albums in their own right...i highly highly reccommend....)...you can view a video of him playing in the band praang on iclips.net just do a search for : praang once your there, and click the video from late june of 2008
