If you chose to destroy something in a lucid dream, does it mean you've overcome it?

well, i take it you mean a fear.

trying to get rid of a fear in a lucid dream, id say it can very in the type of fear, but that contact is a key concept in overcoming it, so say your fear is spiders like me :p, try to summon up some spiders by you an just kinda poke em or something and get use to them, or say your fear is hights (again, like me lol) jump off a few dreamed up cliffs, and let it start from tiny tiny tiny all the way till a giant mountain, and make sure to dream up a parachuit!

btw, if you have any tips to get into a lucid dream, please tell, ive been trying to lucid dream the last few days, it isnt going well :/

i've been able to control my dreams since i was young, i thought it was natural for everyone until i read about lucid dreaming on here, there was an interesting thread that helped me further my dreams intensity, read through it and people left some neat tidbits. http://www.hipforums.com/newforums/showthread.php?t=320638&f=45
