well to my question, when ur dreads are growing they grow as normal hair, how do U make that normal hair dreads?

I think he's talking about root flipping. I personally leave it alone and the roots dreads just fine, no need to root flip IMO.

Masta you have terrific dreads, I don't think you have to do anything to them.

There's no need to do any of that. The hair doesn't just grow out 'normally', when it grows it dreads itself.

how long have you had dreads for? you dont know if you just leave them alone they dread by themselves? it's natural to have an inch or 2 of undreaded hair at the roots.

ive tryed rootflipping and ball-rolling or whatever that is called when i was starting out. but as months turned into years ive came to the conclusion that leaving them be is much better. the circular thingy against scalp tecnique does actually tighten roots better then the other tecniques, but is just hurts your scalp and roots, and doesnt rly make much difference in the long rund.

leave them be, and they will work out their own little ways of doing things, thats usually for the better

lol yeah im talking about the roots and the root flipping... i didnt know you call it roots aswell.
ive tried ball rolling and cant remember my conclusion, and the root flipping isnt that healthy for the scalp. and if ill leave it ill get bored someday and then ill do t he root flipping.

anyways, thank you for your compliments, i have my dreads for 2.5 years i think.
if u have any more suggestions about the roots id like to hear that.

    live long:D

plus the areas where the roots have been flipped end up staying straight because you hair isn't able to move freely unless you un-flip them later one.
