Update with pics!

I cant find my dready thready and felt like taking some update shots for you all...Im almost at 7 months....some were backcombed...some are natural...and some are twist and rip....can you guess which is which? =]

mandy, you are so brave for going so natural. they look awesome. are you concerned about losing length with the ends folding back into your locks like that? i was wondering because mine are doing the same thing and i wonder whether i should let them lol.

those are the most lovely dreads
most look fairly natural and totaly organicly crazy
i saw 2 that looked backcombed and a few twist n ripped
but mostly they look just amazing.. i totaly love em
the 1st 2 that are like way crazy just made me so happy.. i mean im still grinning ear to ear

Yeah its crazy how much some of them are shrinking! Im just happy theyre not all shrinking at once...so Im able to still pull my hair up for work. The funny thing is...is that when I started I wanted perfect dreads....I wanted dreads like Amybirds! But uh....got the complete opposite! lol. But Ive learned to love em as they are and embrace the insanity. I wouldnt worry about your tips rounding...its what they want to do...its part of the natural process!

its like each straw of your hair got its own little oppinion on what it wants to do, and none of them really agrees on anything, so they each just decide to do their own little thing, making that wonderfull chaos of conflicting oppinions merging into something unique
