... but not quite. Yes, I do and will miss them, but no, I don't regret it. I definitely grew as a person since I've had dreads (a coincidence or part of the "journey", who knows?), and I will remember them fondly, but it was time for change. I've been having a rough patch in my life, and although I never thought I'd "take it out" on my dreads, I'm happy I did. It's been a crazy week for me, and even though I'm currently "dreadless"; that doesn't necessarily mean I'll never grow them back. I hope that it's cool if I still hang around here regardless of the status of my hair.
HELL YES! Oh my goodness, I didn't realize how uncomfortable sleeping with dreads really is until last night. And it feels marvelous to be able to run my fingers through my hair without them snagging a loose loop or two. I do miss my dreadies (I have them in a plastic bag on my floor, because I don't want to throw them away), but I don't think I'll really regret it.
I'm glad you don't regret doing it, but still..........:frown: Oh and sure, you can still hang out here, we're all so easy going here
haha, thats the one thing my mate sam said when he cut his off. he'd had 'em for 5 years, and he was just really happy at being able to sleep well =D
