Woah thanks for the barrage of nice words there peeps. Wish I coulda realised how I looked back then; mostly I thought I looked like a pile of shite lol

You're spot on about the cheeks WoodsCall. My face is/was always rounded, and almost chubby, or fleshy, regardless of weight. Even when I was anorexic you'd have never known it from my face as it never lost weight.
Actually, just a little over a year ago it pissed me off for the final time and guess what, I've been doing face exercises  yep lol nearly every day for a little over a year now and it's been like the world's slowest cheapest face-lift :D

I was on an agency's books for a while yeh; that pic I posted was from a shoot for my portfolio. It was all just kinda badly timed and stuff though. I wasn't in the position to keep forking out money for train rides down to London for castings which may or may not result in work, and just had to keep turning them down. The one casting I did make the trip for resulted in the people telling me and the other girl that we were too skinny and flat-chested, which was hugely retarded and annoying given that they had our measurements beforehand. I don't think my mum wanted me to have anything to do with any of it, so she didn't really help, plus I was/am socially hopeless at faking all that "Oh daaaaaarling how looooovely to seeee you" fucking bollocks with people I didn't even know, and I can't do a fake smile to save my life.
I did one shoot for a local paper and that was it. I got "spotted" a few times, and also a bit later when I was living in London, but I was at the peak of my shitness, so that didn't really go any better lol.
I did do a couple of catwalk shows as a favour to a fashion student in her final year. It was sponsored by L'Oreal and the girl went on to work for Stella McCartney, but I never got to see the photos.

Umm, then I got piercings and dyed my hair pink and overnight the wolf-whistles from men changed to kids going "Mummy why does that lady have pink hair?" :p

omg sorry if I just totally bored everyone there lol

Felt a bit bad for posting non-dready old old pics, especially when I've not contributed to this thread for a while, so I did some new pics :p
Lol I put some make-up on for the first time in aaaaages...which reminded me why I never wear it (usually just blusher and glitter lol); I've washed it off now coz I looked like a clown!

Eeek *cringe* I'm sure this is a perfectly normal amount of make-up for most girls...infact it's nowhere near what I see people feeling perfectly happy to wear at the supermarket check-out...but I'm so un-used to seeing it on my own face that I feel like some kind of freaky caricature of myself.

I agree with Lu, 4 is a good shot.
Amy what kind of equipment do you use for the photos?
    Is it digital or oldschool?!
I'm looking for that kind of effect, the granularity. This kind of effect can be reached with a hight ISO film but if you use a digital, I would like to know how to do this. (Not good with digitals)

    :)

Luxie the exercises are a combination of Carole Maggio's (she has a book) and some old guy with a website lol. Started with doing them twice a day every day, for I guess the first couple of months or so, and then almost every day since then. They've pretty much turned around my self-esteem's future prospects, which weren't looking sunny.

Enigmah, I have no knowledge and no skillz lol. The camera is some kind of middle-price Canon digital thing that I don't even know the proper name for....though I think I remember posting a pic of it earlier in this thread. I take shitty shots, usually in the morning when I haven't had a wash and moisturised, and my skin is still all sleepy, or after my wash with streaks of face cream all over the place, never any make-up apart from this time - and then Photoshop does the work I'm too lazy and retarded to do properly in the first place :D

When shooting digital it is possible to change the ISO. Increasing the ISO to a faster speed (higher number) will result in a noisier (more grainy) outcome.

in the bible it says it rained for 40 days and 40 nights and the earth was covered in water so deep it covered the highest mountains

but i think the reality was amy went out in public, and we drowned ourselves in our own drool
