Hey read this thread http://www.hipforums.com/newforums/showthread.php?t=320638&highlight=wake+induced and if you have any questions, just ask. I've spent most of my life in another dimension.
I've been lucid dreaming since I was around 10! And when i ask someone if they've ever lucid dreamt and they say no It never ceases to surprise me... I can't do alot of things I want to when I'm lucid dreaming though... I can run super fast, I can have sex with everyone I see, I can spontaneously combust and control fire but I can't fly...
One thing I know about lucid dreaming from expirience is if you choose to fly, stick your arms out like Superman... LMAO Im dead serious, my first few times I tried to fly in lucid dream I got to about the tree tops before I started hitting power lines and the tops of the buildings and losing control, and I told my friend this, he does a lot of work with the Hopis, told me to stick your arms out like that, and it totally worked!!.. Far out..
Best way to fly when you get lucid is fully realize everything around you is fake and then go horizontal and this proves how fake everything is and you can fly like a rocket. When you start to lose lucidity land and repeat, I had one of the craziest dreams that way. The ending of it was I went up a skyscraper to assassinate a guy but he was already dead and I realized it was a set up so I ran and jumped through the window while I was falling I took off like a rocket like the human torch from fantastic four.
I first read about lucid dreaming about 10 yrs. ago. However, it was only last week that I experienced one. I was driving along a local road. For reason that I do not understand, I thought, this is a dream. I thought, if this is a dream I should be able to fly this car. The car nosed up and we were flying. I remember looking down at the traffic below. Unfortunately my recall of the dream fades at this point. I did not wake up, so I must have fallen into a deeper sleep. When I woke up I could remember the dream very clearly up to the point of looking down. It did not last long. But, the fact that I was able to be aware of been in a dream state and not waking up was very satisfying. I have not yet had a repeat of a lucid dream.
If you find a way, please let me know. I know that it helps to have very vivid dreams. I have found that much easier said than done. On the rear occasion that I have a dream vivid enough to become aware of the fact that I am dreaming, I wake up. And, there in is the trick. To become aware that you are dreaming without waking up. Again, easier said than done. I have managed once only. It was a short lived experience, but enough to let me know that lucid dreaming is indeed possible, and give me hope that I can do better. <(^o^)>
