Soooo, I quit my job...

finding a new one is sorta sucky. I've spent my days mainly as a homemaker, drinking martinis and playing bass.
It's beginning to be a bit dull though. The man: I want work.

 

I feel for ya. I just got laid off... from vineyard work, lol (ouch). That's pretty much all that's left around here, so the bf and I are going to try the wineries next. The little grape farmers around here are all but bankrupt.

 

Wow, I don't think I'm brave enough right now to quit, I just applied for a promotion... heh.

 

My life would suck majorly if I lost my job. why'd you quit?

 

Quitting your job without a back up plan is just insane. I don't understand how people can do that.

 

I quit my job once without a back up plan. It sucks with house payments and such. I'll never do that again.

 

i quit my job recently. its being really boring. just take a look at my poetry thread, for evidence.

for those who quit/laidoff, how long has it been. im going on a month.

 

I quit in Oct.... if I had waited another 2 months i would of got laid off

 

I managed to avoid the recent lay off, but I did get rolled back. I'm looking at about a $4.00 an hour cut in pay.

 

A week.
I'm hoping to secure something in the next few days though....

 

what kind of job has your hopes.

 

being unemployed is grand... i haven't had a "job" since october.... and i LOVE not having to work for the man...

 

I wish I didn't have to work for a living.

Sadly, i'm looking at something corporate.
Hopefully, going to use it to transfer out of shitsville.
Most likely have a hotel gig coming my way.

 

corporate isn't bad. as long as you have a good attitude and know it for what it's really worth. birth. control. the corporate sole. methanol. patch. adams. john.
