Here's a challenge to those of you who know music, because I've been 'googling' my ass of for the past few hours and can't find anything, so I hope someone can help. My girl and I were riding in the car on the way to grab a bite and a song was playing when we got in my car. It was kind of spacey, lead vocal had lots of echo and there was some sax in it as well at one point and it had a slow tempo. Now, I couldn't really make out the lyrics and the only snippet that I got was something like: "that's not what the fightings...about"...I know, I know, I should have been listening better. Anyhow, I've tried to call the the oldies rock station that was playing it and they aren't answering the phones, I've been to the station's site and I don't see a current playlist for today, so I'm stumped. :toetap05: Does anyone know the song I'm talking about and the name of the band? i wish I had more info to offer, but maybe someone can help...Thanks in advance for trying, it's driving me crazy trying to figure it out!
Thanks, man! I lose the bet; my girl said it might be Pink Floyd! If I had heard it from the start I might have been able to deduce the name.
