It's brewed and bottled/canned here in Rochester. I remember my grandfather drinking it back in the 80s. It's no doubt a classic, old school beer that brings back fond memories for many people.
Genesee recently reintroduced a beer that was discontinued back in the 70s; Genesee Bock Beer. It comes in these really neat retro, pastel green cans with a goat on the label. It's really a nice beer, considering it's only $5.99 for a 12-pack. It's comparable in quality to Yuengling, but I think it tastes even better. Unfortunately, it's only a limited release.
Yuengling, I can't get that up here. I actually miss it now, :cheers2: especially the porter. Been liking Sea Dog Blueberry Ale lately. Polished off some Newcastle recently, kinda light, but pretty good anyways. What does budweiser look like now?
Same as it ever was... Haven't drank that garbage since people'd pass me free ones at high school parties.
hehe, i think the can design remains. was it the old school walk-man or the puffy hair? or those tight sun glasses? edit; the nice ass is timeless.
