Will update more but here is my progress of lemon bleaching so far Before - [/IMG] After ( Day One ) - [/IMG] As you can see there getting a lil lighter
nah. That's just the lighting of the picture. One day of lemon bleaching won't do jack shit. If anything they look darker in the second pic. It takes a whole summer of sun for lemon to lighten in your hair
HOW DID I MISS THAT THE FIRST TIME You should bottle up the juice from the lemons in that tree and sell it for instant natural bleaching Seriously. 1 day didn't do anything
I was thinking of taking that route too cuz Im outdoors a lot. Does it really take the whole summer? How fast does it fade?
Well maybe not the whole summer. But it takes a few weeks atleast. Mine took a long time to fade at the tips. I can't say a specific time because it happened so slow and gradually that I didn't even realize it was happening. Longer hair will lighten faster aswell because it is farther from the scalp and recieves less oils and nourishment causing it to lose it's tonality faster EDIT: i didn't use lemons though. I doubt they would speed up the process by drastic rates
lol...my hair is a crappy blend of auburn, dark and light brown, and blonde....due to years of dying. I want it to be an even color....I tried dying it blonde and within a week the color faded...I think dreads suck up dye like sponges...weird. Pat...did you use anything or where you just out in the sun a lot? I heard grapefruits work well too.
Didn't use anything And I wasn't in the sun that much. Most days I slept in way late and avoided the intnese sun light
actallu most people I know with dreads ended up with lightened hair... though it may be because most of them use dish soap to wash their hair...
