I am deleting this entire post just because it seems most people think I need to chill even though I am just asking one small question without any type of overly dramatic typing. I was curious is all about the roots and that was it. Thank you for trying to help

i like loose roots. look more natty and sexy. mine are pretty tight at the roots and i wish they would loosen up. just chill, your dreads are going to look like they're supposed to if you let em

mine have fazes of being really loose then tightening up. Ive had mine 3 years and they still do it,Ive got used to it and just leave them.I mean I have not really touched my dreads for bout 6 weeks except to put a wrap in them. Just best to let then do their own thing I guess
My best friend farts on his pillow so he can smell it all through the night. I hear it helps tighten roots.
