ouch, texas probably will end up voting bush, crystal, so your vote probably doesnt mean anything. just like kansas but who knows really, his own home state could be an upset...... we will see.. one can only hope.

To me, not voting your conscious is wasting your vote.

I have been encouraging people who don't live in swing states -- who are disgusted with Bush, and are not fazed with Kerry's rhetoric -- to vote third party.

Of course New York is a blue state, so Kerry wins NY no matter what.

Yeah, I agree. I can't say much since I didn't get out and vote, but I think that's bad reasoning. Each vote these fucks get puts one more tally on their belt and soothes their ego. No thank you.

    i totally agree,
but the reality is, a third party will never win a presidential election now. at this point in the stagnation of our society, most people wont embrace a nader or any of the like. quite frankly, we should have gone with a parlamentary government. id like to see bush crack under the pressure as the house of lords is screaming bloody murder at him.

If I had gotten my absentee ballot in time, I surely would've voted for Kerry.

Obviously a third party candidate will not win this Presidential Election, and probably many elections to come. But it's not about that. People discouraged by the two-party system need to start somewhere, and by showing support for these third party candidates, you are helping that party to gain power, slowly but surely.

With the way things are going now, I think it's only a matter of time before more and more people start waking up and realizing that both parties are deeply flawed.
