Whose planning on any Maine Vocals Festivals?!?!?

I want to make it a full summer of Festivities this year!! Ive never been and i def. want to go to FreedomFest and Hempstock! Anyone planning on going or attended one of these before?

 

Im planning on all of them, well, maybe not peace jam fest (potential schedule conflict). Last year I hit up Somerset county jam, Hempstock, Harvest fest 1 and 2, and made it over to Beltek.

Best summer ever.

 

My tent will be up bright and early the first day of each. Hempstock and Harvest are definitely the two not to miss (although the Harmony Harvest Fest sucked last year - too cold and no energy. No Twiddle this year - kind of a loss from recent years, but - Big Rhythm!

Definitely been a rise in the presence of undercovers and busts lately though...what the fuck?

I dont bring or leave with anything illegal so that doesnt bother me, literally have nothing to worry about but I agree, full camo cops hiding in the woods grabbing people and check points, it kinda sucks, and to anyone reading this dont be scared off because of the police presence just be smart and have fun, plus the maine vocals people have there own security who got your back and chase away the police. Big thing though is to keep your car clean.

As far as twiddle I agree that no twiddle sucks, im kinda sick of dead cover bands but even so the music will be great plus there is so much more going on than just the music alone. see you there! we should meet up there and be Hip

 

Yea the plan is to not be leaving with anything, and be smart about how and what im bringing!!! Well hopefully the energy is up for the ones i attend!!!!

 

Definitely, I'd probably recognize you if you've been often. I missed the camo cops in the woods. Were they busting people camped along the wood line? That's where I tend to plant myself.

 

they were waiting for people poking around for wood that they saw had drugs then would grab them and drag them off onto public land so they could arrest them without "trespassing" I saw them on the highway on the drive home too, Don went up on stage and made an announcement and it was good after that

 

I remember the announcement I believe. Yeah, I was pretty well cocked I guess.

 

ill be at harvest 1&2. and prob hemp. and ill be at beltek, mcraver. i cant go to webejammin cuz im goin to a festival in dover, nh the same weekend. kinda pissed but i have to go. for one week before one of the harvest fests my friend is having a pre harvest harvest at his house. ill let everyone know the details wen its supposed to happen.
