Hi all. I've bin lurking in the forum for about a week now, so I'm just posting to say hi, and ask a few questions. First of, I wanna ask if anyone have seem these kind of videoes on youtube, and if anyone have thought about doing the same to see there dread progress. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6B26asyGKDo I've had my dreads for about 3 weeks now, and they are beginning to get looser, is this normal ? And can someone tell me what i should expect happening with my dreads on my journey. I have backcombed it, and used a small amount of wax in the beginning wich i don't use anymore cheers
well ummm the loosening is kind of normal, but if its good or bad depends on how tight your dreads were when finished, I guess, also hello! could you post some pics of your dreads?
They'll get looser for a bit, then they'll get tighter and shorter, then they'll finally start growing again, and you'll have dreads

already bin looking through some of them on your HP I dont know why i like the youtube clip so much, just think its awesome you can see him change, and thought it would be even nicer if he had dreads
wow that video is quite intense. his eyes just stay the same, they look so sad and tired. his hair line is crazy though!
Totals hellos The loosening happens to just about every body but natural dreaders. And yes, stay away from that waxy fella... all he wants is trouble. Some might say he'll be sticking around if you mess with him... that was totals lame of me anyway, I guess what I am trying to say is like Weelllcome!

Think it depends also on start length, tightness of initial backcombing/twist&ripping etc. Hang on did someone say something about no shrinkage with the natural route... that's bollocks yeh?
If they did then yeah that would be bollocks. Look at the shrinkage HHB had with his set. I'm sure there are others too, I just can't think right now.
