Wawa. its not fast food but they have everything and they make sandwiches too and they're soooo good. i'm a health nut so i never eat fast food haha ... although i have realized when im stoned i dont mind eating crap, like i'll eat doritos and all kinds of really unhealthy food but if im sober i would never go near that stuff.
We don't have them in Michigan but when I was in Arizona with my cousins they showed me the greatness of the Jack's tacos, 2 forr 99 cents, taco bell cant even beat that.
i'm surprised jack in the box is even still in business, considering all the problems they had....when was it, back in the early 90s?
we have two here and they are both gross. Dirty ass kitchens and employees that dont give a shit... don't blame 'em , I guess. When I was a kid, before I knew better, I liked the potato wedges with sour cream and tacos. Now, I wouldn't touch any of that crap
yep, 93 i know it was over ten years ago, but i'll probably never eat there, and never have http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_in_the_Box#Food_safety
Was that when the supplier for their meat sold them some nasty stuff with E.Coli? Didn't they know about it and ignored it? I vaguely remember that, I think I was only 12 or 13 yrs old
the meat was contaminated with traces of fecal matter, and there was e coli in the meat. they ignored local regulations to cook the meat hot enough to kill the e coli, and instead cooked it to the FDA standards which were lower temperatures than the state regulations. a few kids died, and another several hundred people fell ill.
Thats disgusting. I've noticed the states have sooo many fast food places. Maybe thats why there is an obesity problem, the fast food is so cheap and people are so lazy. It's a dangerous combination. I'd love to have all of those fast food places in Canada. We only have Mcdonalds, Wendys, Harveys, Arbys, and Burger King. Although I'd probably be 15 pounds heavier.
the other day i got a mc flurry at mc donalds. havent had one in who knows how long. it was oreo and so tasty. to bad it melted in a few minutes.
i used to LOVE JintheB when i was in cali...don't remember what i used to have ..friends used to order for me most of the time. I just remember unwrapping it inch by inch as if it was the most precious thing I had ever laid my hands on and then it being in my tummy 2 seconds later.
In & Out burger utterly RAPES any other fast food in the world. too bad it's only on the west coast. atleast we have chik-fil-a, which is also very delicious, i think i might get a job there this summer... (they hire 14 yr olds! :-D) those are the only two fast food places i go to besides Bojangles, (but that's just for sweet tea)
i dont know what laws in your state are like, but you can't be hired at 14 without a work permit, and even then its got more restrictions than an adult would be subjected to. hell, in ohio i don't think you even CAN get a work permit at 14 unless there are special circumstances. not to rain on your parade or anything, but a lot of companies say they'll hire people legally allowed to work (i.e. someone under 16 with a work permit) but in reality they will not. for instance, i used to work at starbucks for a few years, and we were instructed to tell people who asked about employment "we're always accepting applications" or "we're always hiring" and specifically to tell minors as much, that if they get a work permit they're eligible for hire (which technically is true, and i'm sure there are examples of this) but i've never known ANYONE who was under 18 who actually got hired at a starbucks, excluding the licensed stores which are not run by starbucks directly (for instance, the locations in grocery stores, in barnes and noble, in airports, etc.)
there aren't any jack in the boxes around here, but now since i've read that fecal matter story, i doubt i'll be going to one any time soon.
aparently they're expanding in the same way sonic did. air tv ads many miles away from the nearest location so people want it but cant get it. when they put in a new store, people go nuts for it. we get jack in the box ads here. i dont think there is a single location in the state though.
I've actually never eaten at one.. don't really eat fast food too much and had heard about the story Nesta posted but wondered what people who do like eat fast food thought about them since they are everywhere where I live currently and I hadn't seen them growing up in South Florida. They also advertise nationally and have a pretty big menu. Got baked last night and saw like 5 commercials so figured I'd ask. Thanks for the input.
