....no not the weed smokers I would like to know of any natural ingredients I can add to various shampoo and deep cleanse mixtures that produce a more "manly smell" for my hair, a little less flowery and perfumey, do you know what I mean?
Aren't the woody things quite good... is it cedar? Sandalwood? Patchouli in moderation is ok on men too.
cedarwood and rosemary are good too, infact by boyf uses rosemary oil. He used geranium in his bath the other day and he smelt like a girl...doh
I use a vegetable based patchouli soap for my body and use pure patchouli oil to cover up any other unwanted smell or just because I love the shit. There is no moderation when it comes to me using patchouli. I love the shit...my second favorite smell for sure. Apparently I constantly smell like pathouli but would never know it. I get comments from strangers asking what the smell it.
i love the smell of cedar but didn't know they made a extract. I just have to check it out and smell like a tree sometimes instead of like a flower all the time.
Sandalwood on it's own is a little strong for my pallet. But sandalwood combined with pachtoulli smells like a rough neck logger that's been rolling in the dirt. Not sure you get anymore manly than that. Sandalwood + Patchoulli is a good combo.
Just for the record... In the last 6 months every time a good looking girl took me home with them from the bar I was wearing patchoulli....and each time totally looked like shit and hadn't showered in at least a day. I swear by the stuff. I carry a bottle in my car with at all times. lol I really want to start getting into some new oils though. I tried sandalwood a bit but it's too strong for me. But it smells really good on other people.
sandalwood is great. when blending scents, you should have a base scent (sandalwood, patchouli, or musk are manlyish ones) with a light overtone (lime works well with patchouli, i cant remember whats good with sandalwood) and if you like, a middle tone... i have this info somewhere and can dig it out if you like.
well, a lot of people have an aversion to patchouli, if that's something you're concerned with. but, my vote is for rosemary!
im probably no help to you but i use a violet smelling shampoo from lush, not the manliest of things but not nearly the girliest
i buy the super concentrated oils and dilute them in another oil, so they last forever... but YES they are hella expensive.
