Surprised there's not a category for mystery books! What are your favorite mystery books, characters, and authors?
I've been on a Rex Stout kick lately -- his Nero Wolfe novels are new to me, and I'm really enjoying them. Started with "Before Midnight," which focused on a murder during an advertising industry contest. Now I'm in the middle of "And Be a Villain," which is about a murder during a live radio broadcast. Awesome stuff.
hands down, Sherlock Holmes is at the top of the list! i love the Sherlock Holmes mysteries. i've liked novels about Holmes since i was like 9 or 10 and i have reread them many times. i own a collection of short stories and novels by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (got them last Christmas ). can't think of any more off the top of my head but that's the one that really stands out in my mind.
