what are Salvia visuals like?

That's when it's scary...My one and only salvia trip gave me no visuals at all, just intense internal realizations. I remember when I hit the pipe, as soon as I exhaled the smoke, I turned to my friend and frantically asked him, "What the fuck was in that pipe dude?!?"
It's like a light switch goes off, and you suddenly realize you have been insane your entire life up until that very moment, when you are finally seeing clearly and understanding. You realize everything is fake, made up.
First time I smoked was in my friend's apartment that he just moved into, and I immediately got the sense that I had been a prison the entire 20 years of my life and had just become aware of it. At first I was confused, I thought I had been imprisoned in that room forever, but then I realized that it wasn't the room I had been stuck in, it was that entire layer of reality that I had been imprisoned in. I then had a conversation with God, not sure who or what God is, but it was definitely beyond explanation. All I know is that since I had discovered what I had, I was asked if I would like to leave or stay. I begged to stay, I just wasn't ready to leave even though I knew this entire world was fake, just because of all the fear I had. Sacred stuff man.
I actually wrote a short story about it, might post it later.

 

I had fractals and especially more than 3 spatial dimensions. It's near impossible to explain, but trust me... I fell through the carpet and gahhhh I can't explain!

Also, the visuals sometimes are vivid, sometimes they seem transparent and just hovering over your view. Most visuals though take what's already there and make it real fucked up... my friend's crazy-patterned shirt flew off her body and covered the right half of the room like wallpaper, or my blinds started to look like the Mario Bros. underground levels...

It's all so subjective I say just go for it and find out yourself!!

I know I've said it in other places, but for me the plain leaf in a bong is just fine. I don't understand why you can't do it with water; that's never changed it for me. How much you experience will be directly related to how long you hold the smoke in. I would suggest at least 15 seconds to get a feel for it then wait a few days to absorb the thoughts and become familiar with what it feels like to realize your entire reality is nothing more than a clever ruse by some unknown entity.

Then when you think you're getting it, stop thinking that and take another small hit when you're in a nice environment and hold it in. Separate your tokes by a week or two and you will begin to see how your tolerance is reversed and actually that "small" bowl will begin to be a big bowl and you will trip so heavy and so deep into your own soul and the reality that Salvia defines for you that at no point in time would you ever consider an extract.

Of course, it does take time but trust me when you break that mold and see what the Salvia Mother is trying to teach you... it will last you the rest of your life.

i could close my eyes and "see" the room i was lying in with bright colours. it then unfolded and the house kinof morphed around like a pile of rainbow-coloured toy blocks.

however, openeye visuals are primarily distortions, half-seeing things as others (shadows for people, or chips in the pavement for eyes), and difficulties understanding some distances (especially vertical)

 

I hope you read what Im about to say. That experience is basically what I experienced once. Almost EXACTLY the same, up until the point where you met "god" or the "decider", I didnt get the choice you did. Must have been the dose, which was 2 hits of 50x in my room, alone at night. I was catapulted into the experience, and the entire "fake" world was torn from me and in a matter of seconds, the concept didnt even exist anymore. I became a pure being, no contemplation, attachment, or thought existed. I just experienced. I was in another dimension, far beyond explaination, and I was in motion. Getting pulled towards "god" or the "decider" who would decide my fate which would result in a "HUGE" change... I dont even know I cannot explain it. But I "felt" other "people?" who were experiencing the exact same thing as I was, and they were in different layers of this dimension. This was about 2 or so years ago. I will never forget.

 

I think you are the first person who has had a similiar experience or really knew what I was talking about.
It probably was your increased dosage that left you with no choice. We had 20x, and I just took a singular hit (although I've always been extremely sensitive to drugs).
Anyhow, I'm suprised you made it back.
In that moment I had to decide, I was consumed with fear and pleadingly begged to allow my "NO!" to be shouted, simply because I was 100% that if I left I was never coming back.
Not that I completely wanted to come back, but there was just something pulling me here still, some reason I still needed to stay.

 

I did it yesterday and I don't know what really happened. I took a monster hit of 10x from this pipe and right after I exhaled I saw green red and yellow swirls and was grabbing the drivers seat so I wouldn't fall into this black hole. My friends said the whole time I was laughing and I said "I didn't want to be the one that laughs." While I was tripping. They said it had only been a minute and it blows my mind how fast it all happens.

 

A few friends of mine had similar experiences on the same batch of salvia, which was bought at a flea market. I too, was positive that this whole existance was a joke, and what I had been sucked into, was the ultimate reality, and there was no going back. Grim acceptance.

 

Intense and realistic. I have been inside cartoons...merged with objects and seen mad distortions.

 

While first going into a trip, everthing comes on very sudden in my experiences.

I've never not had a breakthrough trip, but what i see is often very much like a collidascope, (sp. i know).

it's like organically mirrored.

this is the best way i can describe it.

Salvia the first two times you do it it might not have much effect (but DONT think that means take a higher extract, like stay with x10 at most)

how my experiences went, i had 5x and i tried it once, and nothing happened, and likewise with my friend.
a week or so later we tried again, and I didnt have any effect aside from very minor body effect, but my friend said he saw the painting move, and randomly a bunch of black people laughing popped in his head.
i tried it again the next day watching tv w/ my friend (who was dexxing) and all of a sudden i started to have a visual effect.. the big tv kind of turned into a giant monster (not really seeing a big monster but it got all dark and ominous and i picured that)

thaaan.

a few weeks after that, i descide to pick up a 10x and a 20x from the shop and me him and some other kid went to the park and my friend lit up a bowl of 10x, and he just started shaking and acting weird, and confused for like 5 minutes, he came out of the trance type saying that everything was run by a factory and he was scared shitless out of it. I took the same dose, and damn nothing could have ever prepared me for what happened.
The second i exhaled my 2nd hit.. FEAR, down too the deepest depth of my bones, I instantly regretted taking it, and it was the scariest experience i have ever had in my entire life, one of those things that will always be with you you'll never forget. the gravity was horrible, it felt as if i was getting sucked down into the ground, and i got really HOT really fast i was drenched in sweat, I really couldn't tell you what kind of visuals accompanied this state, everything was different but i was too scared to even give it notice, i think the trees looked as if they we're in flames, but i honestly don't know.

That was about 2 years ago, tried it once more later, very small dose, and it jsut gave me fear and dots on my ceiling. and i chewed the leaves and that wasnt bad, it really has a good anti-deppressant effect to it.

Im just now, about to start wading back in the salvia waters. Face my fears, and I have great questions i wish to learn from the salvia divinorum state regarding sound.

yea i like that too. second time i smoked salvia some kids thought it was bullshit because we tried the leaves first. i took a hit of the extract and immediately i knew it was going to be different. I starts to say, "this time its going to be different" i made it as far as "diff--" before my voice become low and incoherent and I slunk to the floor
