Damscus, the Capital of Syria. The oldest inhabited city on the planet.. Also the name of the my Spirit guide, the Bear. I've been google'ing a lot, but have failed to find what I'm looking for, and the library is a good 2 day hike from here.. Just really quickly, does anybody have any sort of history on the name Damaskus (Damascus), other than that of the Greek god Dionysis? Possibly the history of the name, variations from country-country/time-time, or something of the sort? Possibly related to the Bear, Pisces, or name Daniel? I find it interesting that Damascus is the only Spirit guide of my several to have a direct encounter with me as of yet, and that I had never heard of the city of Damascus until I google'd it. Not only that, but Daniel, my middle name, is of Jewish origins, as is the city of Damascus. Any help is appreciated, i've just got a lot on my plate and not much time for research atm, anyone got anything to share/add/etc?
I think there's a clue there with Damascus/Daniel that your guide is hinting that you are one and the same.
Hi Spiritchalist In reading your post a kind of double exposure caught my attention. Kind of like seeing two post over lapping, or several seperate questions, one written on top of the other. So as much as I am not answering your original question, I wanted to share the message of the hope, or over lapping questions, and message that I saw. Hope that does not sound confusing. First I saw your Spirit Guide standing before a class room, as if teaching. There was this large tapestry with a religious battle { Looks like St. Paul's time} with knights with red cross's on their breast plate. Your guide looked directly at me, and said, "Change Your Focuse, or you will miss the message, the lesson here. I realized in that moment you were sitting in the same chair I was, so as much as your guide spoke to me, the message was for you as well." That was yesterday. Last night Your Guide came through again, and said, " say to the one asking..." "In this place there is a street named Straight. There is a bridge made of steel folded back on it self, and there is a church with this tapestry hanging on the back wall. There is another tapestry of a fortress in ruins dating back to 1219. Answer this question by changing the focus to that which you seek. You are very creative in this way.This will take you to the life path of understanding your own process within you of discovering the magic in the mundane, or every day moments. Keep in mind Life is a dance that you write the music for by the way you choose to live your awareness. In this place many battles have torn this land a part. What remains is the courage of a pure heart, and the vulnerability that will not be tamed You are part of this land because you have lived here in past lives. Discover not just the land, but who you are within on a greater depth than you have done so before. You are your sacredness and faith within. You are not born of man made religions. You are born from a pure heart, and a vulnerbility that will test, and tear you a part. Be as the tapestry that records these things within you." What I found interesting was you are headed for a big change, You are creating your own tapesry so to speak, and your Spirit Guide was trying to send you a message. Take all that comes to you, and change the focus, (Roll Play different parts) just to offer you a more balanced view of the choices you are making. I almost did not reply, but felt compelled to.
