I've decided to become a retired old man.

Retired old men are better stereotypically than retired old women.

I haven't had a weekend out of the house for a few weeks now. By the time arvo comes around and I've eaten dinner I just cant be bothered doing anything. Which is fine, I like to unwind on Fridays, kick back in my jammie's and vegg' out on the couch watching AFL and yelling loudly at the TV.

Long weekend this weekend so I have nothing to do tomorrow either. I might just wind up washing my car, find a book and lay about in the hammock for the rest of the arvo. I may even take go across the road and play basketball with the kids. Do retiree's play basketball?

I AM decent at Darts, so I think I may start doing that more.

I hear old guys like botchee ball, so I gotta learn that. And titty bars, but I dont really... care about that...

What else do old retired men do?

Like, yah, retired old women get the cats, but they also like, knit and play mahjohng.

It's my belief old men go to sports games, get drunk, fall asleep at the wheel of their RV's and play low impact sports. I'm down with that. ​

I have a list of Old Man activities that I want to accomplish before I try and find a new job again, as I'm pretending to be a retiree. I'm also becoming a teenager again, as I havent cleaned my room for two weeks and I've agreed to draw a CD cover thing for my little brothers really bad garage "band" - I can't play an instrument. It's going to be that bad.

So I'm taking a me break- working out, cleaning house, dragging my ass through college math classes while looking for a new job. Thankfully, there's not a super rush to find something. I can be out of work for approximately 4-6 more months without being financial fucked. After that, then it's more difficult.
