Even a demon should put itself in extreme torments for being such the way, and do it for any it thinks it affected, and it indeed do what it should. the demon should realize that its fear and its jealousy/envy will both lead it down flawed paths, but if it must choose one or the other, the path in which one certain says will lead farther into darkness and breed more conflict. this is due to the fact that the choice is for all demons to make whether to fear what is to come or to act on what is to come. and action creates effect and therefore, working within the confines of the discussion, would create for certainties. more fear. more envy.
