    Well, with JFK it was just the women. With Clinton it was cocaine and women... though rumor has it that JFK may have taken LSD with Marylin Monroe in 1962.

    Now see I voted for Ron Paul in both the primaries and the actual election but to call Obama a tool is just partisan anger

    I was thinking more of JFKs persona that any drug or female activities.

    It would appear hipness is now a marketting term. Originally Hippies were the counter culture. Does hip now translate to simply popular and marketable? Kind of sad in a way. I thought the Hip movement was more about peace and social justice.

    I don't think there is any relation today between the term hip and hippy.

    'Hip' in the manner it is being used now (as in the article) is 'with the times', which changes with the times..
