I can't believe a channel with a science/nature/REALITY theme has such a biased unscientific show like "A Haunting". WTF is up with that show. It should be called families who need mental help.
You ever been fucked over by a demon that rules your house... then you don't know what it's liiiiike!
There's not a shred of scientific evidence that anyone on this planet has ever been fucked over by haunting demons. There is however plenty of evidence that millions of people suffer mental illnesses including psychotic hallucinogenic episodes. We've all seen and heard shit that doesn't exist outside our minds. This usually happens in bed when your mind is transitioning between sleep and conscious states. Our imaginations often interpolate shadows and sounds into faces and voices. Only those ignorant of how the mind works would assume these things to be supernatural.
oh my god that show is such a waste of money. there have been many shows like it, but they all have one thing in common: from the hundreds to thousands of hours of recording they have you never see a friggin ghost. the closest you get is a something falling in a dark room and they all turn and gasp!
Sorry, but I must confess that I do find that show to be a guilty pleasure of mine, lol! As far as programming on these stations goes, it generally does suck. A&E has 'Dog:The (racist) Bounty Hunter' for fuxsake! TLC is mediocre at best. I do love the Travel Channel, though (Sam Brown can get 'it', fa sho!)...The choices are shrinking for intellectual television entertainment (or is that an oxymoron in itself?)
I'm all for ghosts and shit. But this show is just boring... Along with all the other ghost hunting shows...
The Learning Channel should be forced to give up its name. That network hasn't taught anyone anything in years now. The Discovery Channel and History Channel are both relying FAR TOO MUCH on these stupid reality TV shows. Someone explain to me how following the careers of tree cutters is historical? Ice road truckers? Deep sea fishers? WTF?
I tend to enjoy this show, though sometimes I tend to tune out what they're saying and create my own dialog a la MST3K...the latin guitar guy one had a lot of hilariously awful moments in it
