Anybody had any luck with this? Travelling to the upper, middle and lower realms. I am not having much luck with this. Maybe I try to force or control it, I don't know. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. I do have drums and rattles and I have a Sandra Ingerman book on journeying complete with drumming CD but like I say, I am not getting anywhere. Thanks :)

Whats the sitch with your 3rd eye?

Have you used Mantras in cooperation with drumming/rattles/etc?

    Have you tried entheogens?

Have you tried using a Portal?

What technique do you usually use? Explain the whole journey from start to finish.

I start with either a drumming CD or meditation type music. I start with the lower world (and finish for that matter lol). I find a path, I enter a cave or hole in a tree or other and there it stops.Doesn't matter if I use a tunnel, a cave, a tree-I will travel on forever and never reach a destination. It goes on and on. And theeeere you have it :)

Do you lay out your intent for your journey?

You get nowhere because there's nowhere to get to.

Oh wow, I musta been high, I thought I responded to this last night..

It might not be time yet. I know I first made contact with my spirit guide, and didnt meet Him until about a month and a half later, and that was with the use of entheogenics.

Spiritualist!!! I could hardly wait to get home at lunch to tell you this! This morning, right after I posted, I remembered quite awhile back on my first try at journeying I met with a character who looked like Merlin and this is what I called him. I can't remember now what took place. I discounted it as my imagination for some reason. Anyway walking to work this morning I happened to look down and saw an injured bird. At a closer look I realised it was a hawk. Somebody in a nearby store got me a small box and I took it to work with me and called a man who lives on the outskirts of town who takes care of injured birds specializing in birds of prey. So he comes to the store and is checking this young hawk out and tells me...It's a Merlin Falcon!!! I think my heart stopped beating and I must have stopped breathing LOL...I know that was confirmation but not quite sure what it all means. I am hoping this Falcon is OK. The guy is going to let me know.

    Hey Windy!
That is a wild and wonderful story...could this be a peregrine falcon?
And surely you know now (as I certainly felt it when reading your post) that the "character" you met awhile back is who you've been wanting to meet all along. :)

Hi Lynn...No it wasn't a peregrine. The actual name for this Falcon is a Merlin. Apparently there are quite a few around here. In the British Isles, way back when, Ladies would use Merlins while hunting and Gentlemen would use Sparrow Hawks. ( Correct me if I am wrong :) )
I wish I had wrote down the details of that journey now. Crap!!! LOL...well, I'll have to try journeying again and see what comes up :)

    That's awesome windy!!!

I remember the first time I had a bit of a sign like that.
It was my first attempt at journeying, and I didn't meet any of my spirit guides, or anyone else. As I gave up on my journey and started to return to reality, I "saw" a bid circling high high high above in the sky..

The next day, I was wandering around with some friends smoking pot, and I saw on the ground, a stick with a feather attached to the top, I didn't even look at it, I was scanning the area and my eyes were just drawn to it from 200 feet away. It was amazing!

That is sooo cool. By the way this injured Merlin I found was laying on its side wings folded up and eyes closed last time I saw it. He was breathing very rapidly. Well the guy from the bird sanctuary called me this morning and told me the Merlin was hopping around trying to fly and should be ready for release in a week if it keeps improving like this. Yay!!!!

That is really amazing - the whole of it, windy...I know for a fact that falcons are (usually :)) very "anti-human" as are any wild, predatory bird. Seems he was literally waiting on you to come along - and you both could be "rescued", so to say. You now can know (for an internal fact) your guide is there, always.
When you next try journeying, I'd suggest going somewhere specific that you Know, and calling the Merlin you've seen.
So this is a most special falcon - a messenger and a sign.

Thanks Lynn :) I dropped out to the sanctuary yesterday and saw this Falcon He seems do be doing well. The man who runs the place asked me if I would like to be present when they released him back into the wild. They will let me know. I took a couple of pics and if I knew how I would post them. And thank you, yes, the next time I journey I will know what to do. Cheers!
