I got high today and saw that those UFO mysteries and encounters were on today. I have to say, if you're big into theories, conspiracies, myths, etc. these shows are great! Especially high. They're on quite often actually.

There was this hick reporting on what happened the night they had an encounter with a UFO. The interviewer asked him what is was like, and if it was loud.

He said "Oh no, it was so quiet you could hear a rat piss on a piece of cotton."

    Lulz.

Yeah. History Channel, Discovery, NGC, Investigation Discovery, all great.

I'm watching that special Waking the Baby Mammoth right now.

I've seen a UFO that looked exactly like one that was described in a UFO show.

I have been on who has always kept a eye to the night sky. I can name quite a few of the constellations , certainly pick out the planets and certain stars by name.

In regards to UFO's . I have only seen something once that I could tell you what is wasn't , but can't say exactly what it was. Maybe twice.

Now Popularity.. you're up in Co. so you should have pretty good dark sky nights.. have you seen anything really odd?

also there is a great web site called "heavens above" if you are into spotting satellites , the iss and the shuttle

They've been showing a lot of great documentaries on those channels lately.. a lot of environmentally-related ones. also a lot of disaster and apocalyptic scenario docs, for some reason.

Thanks for the heads up, I want to check out the UFO one.

lol this reminds me of this show i was watching on discovery or something about the moon landing being a conspiracy and they only talked to like 1 dude that thought it was a conspiracy and he was this old man with about 5 teeth that lived on and owned a cat sanctuary in the desert of nevada or something ..i was like "really...? really...you couldnt find anyone else?..doesnt sound like a very credible theory then.."

We watched this video in astronomy that had Sam Neil as the narrator and it was about the big bang, and aliens and whatnot, but it was funny.

He's the guy from Jurassic Park btw.
