    Its natural to eat meat.
    do not be afraid.

    Its so tasty and good.
its only been happening on earth since day 1.
and yet you deny your natural instincts to consume lesser creatures of the food chain!

i guess in 2009 your lucky enough to be able to do that.
have preference of the kind of food u want to eat.

always be grateful you have that food in your stomach.

    edit:*

yes! same here. i have nothing wrong with vegetarians. infact a few of my friends are. but im just fascinated with the choice. i always found it quite natural to eat meat for the nutritional value. like its apart of human DNA. Just the natural way. and very unnatural just to just eat one.

but i guess its all about preference eh.

It's my philosophy, on the industry
Don't bother dissin me, or even wish that we'd
soften, dilute, or commercialize all our lyrics
Cause it's about time one of y'all hear it
And hear it first-hand from the intelligent brown man
A vegetarian, no goat or ham
or chicken or turkey or hamburger
'cause to me that's suicide self-murder
let us get back to what we call hip hop

There is a tidbit in Jim Gaffigan's stand up film "King Baby" which goes into vegetarians and meat. I think it's absolutely hilarious because it's very true in many cases. I can't find just that section of the movie online, so I'll put the transcript on here:

"...but you know who seems to be really obsessed with meat, are vegetarians. You know, for people that don't like meat, they seem to eat a lot of vegetables that are mashed up and shaped to look like meat.

'I find meat repulsive! I'll have a veggie-burger with fake bacon and can you serve it to me dressed like a cow? I don't like meat, I just like to call meat late at night and hangup. Let's drive by meat's house. Does meat ever ask about me? I don't care! I ain't missin' you at all...missin' yoooou.'

"Never see that the other way. 'I will have the steak and can you make that taste like tofu?'"

Here's the link to the full movie http://www.megavideo.com/?v=7KMTO66J

Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with Vegetarians. To each his own, it just doesn't fit into my personal beliefs.

since 'day 1' they haven't had cruel factory farms, and slaughtering animals wasn't done in ways that hurt the earth
stop being so concerned with what other people do or do not eat and worry about yourself
no one's forcing you to do anything
and who says we don't appreciate what we have? i'm very appreciative of everything i have all the time and i'm broke as fuck
if it WASN'T 2009 you know what? there's always been fruits, vegetables, grains, beans, and nuts. which come from the earth. it isn't like vegetarianism is something new. i'm sick of people thinking that. as if it was a fad invented in the 90's.vegetarianism has been around as long as humans have.yes we CAN eat meat, some of us don't want to. who cares? how does it effect YOU if i prefer an apple or some fried dandelions over whatever it is you like to eat?
and to JoeyPB, these artificial meat products were made for people who were raised to eat meat and are used to these things.if you lived with very carnivorous rednecks your whole life, like my family, who insisted on large portions of meat at every meal, those things that are similar to meat but are made of tofu or whatever, are good for transitioning to vegetarianism. it helps a lot in the first year or two. especially since at the time i was a teenager, my mom would make stuff like lasagna or moussaka and would corner me and literally wave it like an inch in front of my face going "MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM"
    substitutions are very helpful.:)
but i like that you respect vegetarians, i don't expect anyone to make my choices, and i really respect everyone else who is like that :D

very true. and i forgot to percive it that way.
i admit that the meat industry is pretty brutal.
but theres 305 million mouths to feed
and mass meat production is the only way to do it i suppose.
    it seems brutal.

    just remember.

everything on earth is made of energy.

    plants, animals, humans, everything.

energy cannot be crated or destroyed but can only change forum.

so what happens when you kill a cow and eat him?
his energy is absorbed into you. which is absorbed back into the earth.
and the cycle continues. even when you die.
the energy will be absorbed back onto earth and will produce another organism from that energy, and life moves on.

ive seent he videos to try to get to try to get people to stop likeing meat because of the horrible industry. it discus me. and makes me not want to eat meat.

But its not like i could possibly feel bad for the creature.
its not that i dont have heart of other animals.
its just that the brain of the cow just dosent even know anything more then the feild its born and grown up in. literally a cow dosent know much more then the 100 yards its been born and raised in. thats its world. what it can see is all it knows. and it probably cant see much so theres no point feeling bad about it. no matter how brutal it is =( it is still sad. but it will continue to happen

How the fuck would you know that? The fact is studies into bovine intelligence suggest the contrary, that cows are thinkers. They have complex and strong emotions and form intricate relationships. Not that it even needs to be studied, anyone with a few brain cells who has met a well cared for cow can see that. I really dont even see what youre trying to say here. I think youre just trolling about:rolleyes: I wont be too harsh as it doesnt sound like theres too much going on upstairs

Cows are female. Bulls or bullocks (younger or neutered males) are male cattle
Also this bullshit (cowshit?) was amusing

interesting that you note energy and feeding millions of people. if you did some research before posting, you would know about the inefficiency of animals' ability to convert plant energy into meat energy and the resources that are wasted. a meat based diet uses 7 times more energy to produce meat than a plant based diet would. 50 vegetarians could live off the resources used/wasted by a meat eater.

if the world (especially the U.S.) cut down on meat production by as little as 10%, the resources saved could feed the starving in every undeveloped nation.

carnivores. LOL. For people who like meat, they sure do spend a lot of time worried about making their supply smaller/ more expensive by increasing consumers.

It's MY body, MY choice and NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS.

I can't believe all of you. You really need to learn the difference between someone who wants to discuss your viewpoint and a straight-up troll. This guy didn't come on with any accusations, name-calling, etc. Everyone who disagrees with you is not automatically trying to 'diss' you.

Okay you want a serious discussion here?

    Define natural.
Explain your assumption that all vegetarians are afraid.

    Subjective.

Brush up on your history. This is false.

Define lesser. What scale are you using to rank living creatures?
I'm assuming this "instinct" you're talking about is referring to the hunter/survivalist aspect of the human psyche... in that case it is mostly irrelevant in our society today when it comes to food.

But wait, I thought vegetarians were avoiding meat out of fear?

    Ummm. okay.

Again, you need to define natural. Have fun with this.

Eh. A lot of people choose to be vegetarians for a lot of reasons other than "taste preference." In fact, as a vegetarian myself there are quite a few times when I'd prefer the taste of a bacon cheeseburger over my tofu stir-fry. But I have dozens of reasons why I end up preferring that stir-fry over the burger. My tastebuds don't control me. I think before I eat. What a thought!

So "vegetarians LOL" is the title of an open minded and respectful request for debate rather than a mockery of people who choose not to eat meat? Not to mention the rest of the posts:rolleyes:
