Yo! I was there in 1969--living right off of Height/Ashbury----
    Tons of amazing times.

    Anyone here from those times?

I just saw Gracy Slick a few months ago---and we laughed about the
old days, vs. now. Quite a difference.

Hope to hear from you :D

    :cheers2:

I was there in S.F. when she was years ago---went to her concerts, etc.

Then, last year she came to the Egyptian Theater here in LA. So I told her about being in S.F. in the 60's----then suckered into the Cult for 30 years---
and then how I'd escaped out. She congratulated me, and I took many photos
of her *fabulous* art work, too, as well as a few of her.

If I can ever learn how to upload my photos----I'll post them for you.
She's a terrific artist as well as musician.

    Best,

    Tory/Magoo

Please explain all this anonymous stuff to me I don't really understand it. Is it all about being against the church of Scientology ?

    Peace

    Silverhippie....

No, there is a huge group of anonymous who post on what's called /b/chan.
They have nothing to do with the pickets.

I'll explain it as I know it: In January a book came out on Tom Cruise.
Shortly after that, *someone* leaked out a video of TC when speaking
inside, saying "You're either IN or you're OUT", etc.

Scientology's Office of Special Affairs (or their attorneys) "Ordered" that video off of YT. Some of the Anonymous got wind of that, and basically said (in so many words---my interpretation): "Not on our watch----you don't control the Internet". So they made a video to Scientology announcing they were going to crash their "church" and they did crash their web site, for 2 days, I think.

Next, Mark Bunker (www.xenutv.com---a critic of Scientology) made a video speaking to Anonymous, which you can Google. He and I both asked the people we were speaking to, to picket
safely---for their own sake, as both of us knew Scientology would love to arrest people, or at least get them into court.

Their first picket was in February, and they had 9,000 people picketing in
117 cities around the world. It's continued each month....even though some have dropped off, many still picket. You can read their signs and see why they picket: Mainly, to expose the abuses of the "church" of Scientology.

    http://www.dailymotion.com/SA-Anonymous/video/7341208

That was their first picket, and it will give you more of what went down.

Great group of people...at least many of them are.:hat:

I hope that helps, and any anonymous are welcome to add their take.

    My best,

    Tory/Magoo

Has anybody noticed that of the 45 posts of Magoo1 that she is credited with, only 5 of them are still around? Did the other 40 get deleted? If they did- why? Did Scientology threaten to sue this site? or God forbid, did they hack this site and delete the posts themselves? any ideas?

    PAX

Try posting 45 anti-scientology posts and see what happens. :)

    69 i was 21, literally. born in 48.

i was dodging the draft by being in the air force.

never have lived in san fran, nor the s.f. bay area. liked the whether down there, but my hills (northern sierra nevada's) were ok too.

actually rode down there on the train on my dad's pass a bunch of times. never got in on the 'scene' though.
