    She's completely right. It's true.

Get it done the right way, which is -- don't listen to a damn thing she said and rip out her vocal box and sever her fingers so she has no way to inform others with her misinformation.

lol...well i dont think i'll link her this thread anymore  harsh...hahahaha

but ya i messaged her back and asked her what her friends were doin to clean their hair, and mentioned stuff like sea salt sprays and whatnot and she didnt really answer me...

i was curious what the "right way" was...waitin on an answer from that message...

i'll be sure to let everyone know what the right way is so that you can all undo your dreads and redo them in case you did it the wrong way!

i'd just like to point out how funny it is she said it would only work for african hair. lmao. if someone with african hair went totally neglect they'd have a dread helmet.

You said that people with African American hair could not get neglect dreads. If you were joking, then it's trolling (of course, I call everything trolling).

i wasn't joking, maybe exagerating a bit tho. i just wanted to point out the part of the original conversation that was interesting to me. of course, anyone can get neglect dreads. i just think there'd be a lot of seperating to do to stop congos. so much seperation that i wouldn't consider it neglect. but, i'm no expert on neglect anyways.

I've seen quite a few African descended people with neglect dreads. It looks the same as when white people go the neglect method, except that the dreads tend to have very little stray hairs.

but what i'm saying is that (from what i have seen) the webbing is hell with african hair, and it seems like it's a constant battle to stop congos. so, it's not technically neglect. but, is there really a definition for neglect anyways? ;)

Hmm...I would define neglect as not combing your hair and not using any techniques. Simply leaving it alone but still wash it and you get neglect dreads. Of course, I could be wrong here. ;>.>

so if you seperated your congos you would be doing maitenance, which is not neglect.

i dotn think separating congo's would disqualify your dreads from being "neglect"...although, the purest of the purest of the pure neglecters would never dream of ripping congo's im sure

Mayby the question: "To rip or not to rip" defines the difference between neglect and natural.
