    The Impetus of Immortal Man

All falls start with a misplaced step,
Every day begins with a blade to the neck.
To make life all you need is great explosions,
    Nothing can stop. Erosion.

All lives collide in the rush to depart,
They've got half of a soul, and plans for a heart.
Into the light they blindly charge,
The blackness of the terminal grows ever large.

The kitty won't eat that which is not dead,
It makes her sick to see the thick and red.
It becomes her fate to manipulate,
And shed her dreams by moonlight.

Do away with the need to humiliate,
Replace it with the need to know.
To replicate DNA and spread it through the Milky Way,
Will halve and halve, but never grow.
