IV'ing Oxycontin

so i've been thinking about trying this lately as it is just taking too much oxy to get high nowadays.
i have to rail atleast 300mg to get a decent buzz.
so i've been reading up on shooting this stuff and i think im gonna give it a try.
so i was just wondering if you guys have any info you'd like to give me before i go ahead with this.
for those of you who shoot your dope/pills, what size needle do you find works best?
i know i already read somewhere of what size to use, but i'd like to get a second opinion from you guys anyway.
and just so you know, i'm already aware of the dangers by doing this,
so please don't preach to me.
im just looking for some info.
i also don't plan to make a habit outta this.
even though i know some people are gonna think otherwise.
im also not sure if im gonna even go ahead with this.
im just trying to gather as much info as possible so that in time if i do decide to try this, i will have the knowledge to be as safe as i can.

EDIT: oh also, what would you guys recomend for a dose for my first shot?
i read that i should start at a quarter strength of my regular dose, and then go up from there.
and like i said, my tolerance is around 300mg,

 

Use 1cc syringes, either long or short tips (depends on if your veins are closer to the surface of the skin or not, i use the long tips but i am REALLY good at shooting myself up, been doing it for over 5 years). For the dose use 80-100 mg's, maybe a little less. Have fun and be safe!

 

dude dont shoot the pills, do what it says on the bottle, scratch that we have our other methods.... do those.

i don't need any kind of reference from a doc do I?

Dude don't get into that shit. give it a week and then your slamin just as much. I would suggest you do what I always do. your not going to like it but its better than getting into a deeper habit..
As much as your doing is part of the reason your hurting so much. When you do that amount for awhile your gonna end up in more pain than your really in.
You need to ween yourself off the Oxys. Then switch to Norcos for awhile. You can say you can't all you want and till your blue in the face, but you need to get off the oxys. in a few days you will be SHOCKED!!!!!!
that your not in the pain you are usually in.
Do the Norco for a few weeks while you ween yourself down...
ITS A PROVEN FACT THAT WHEN YOU DO THE AMOUNT THAT YOUR DOING WILL INCREASE YOUR PAIN, AND NOT HELP IT..
then stick to the Norco for a couple months. and it will bring your tolerance down a bit..
But hey either that or become a worse junky..
I don't want to call you out or be rude, but from what you told me of your condition. You shouldn't need anything more than some exercise and a few Norco..
But hey I could be wrong.
I'm only saying this cause I would hate to see you go down a darker path than you need to. Plus I like you and thats what friends do..

i appreciate the fact that you even took the time to write all that out.
and its cool that you even give a fuck about what i do.
but unfortunately the exercise only helps to a certain extent.
i stay on my oxy so i can actually go to the gym.
without the pills im basically a cripple stuck in bed.
im hoping that my mri in june will reveal something new thats treatable so i can get off these meds.
and then use them from occasion to occasion to actually enjoy the high.

oxy is right. i slam my H and you would be surpised what even taking aday off makes. No more week long bingers lol.

But yeah, listen to oxy. seriously. Better to have loved n lost than never at all doesnt apply here. Its better you never know just how fuckin good that spike is.

 

Remember right now how much it sucks because it just costs to dam much because you have to do more and more . Now doulbe that because your habit will be more , you'll have track marks everywhere. You'll probally wear out your welcome with yur freinds for what ever reseason. It's not worth it!!!!! Your life will NEVER be the same. I wish I had that choice right this minute. I wouldn't be writing this. Wish I had a dose instead right this minute! Don't Do it!!!

anyways, i have a Q about shootin/iV'in oxy, ive never shot anything up before, and im kinda curious..

how do you go about shooting oxycontin? or rather, how do you go about getting it into a syringe..?

the only way i can think of is doing a cold water extraction on the oxy, to remove the fillers/binders, then use the remaining water in a syringe and shoot it..

 

call me naive but i really do not think you can go into a drug store and buy syringes/needles... at least you can't at the one i work at.

i'm like... 65% sure you need a script. but hey, i guess it's worth a shot.

 

idk if its all states, but they dont sell syringes in NY anymore... there is a syringe exchange place now, you can just get new ones, or you can bring your used syringes and get new ones.. and yes they are free, to cut down on disease most likly

 

It depends on the state. Here in arkansas you don't need a script, you can just walk in and buy them. The only time i was turned down is when i was looking like a total druggie and they knew it so i had to go to a different wal-greens.
