They are one of the most annoying businesses on the face of this earth. They make a mistake and you point it out and they try to blame you. Then when they find out it is their mistake they act like it is no big deal even though they treat you like scum until you prove their fuck up. But what the hell is a person to do? I have to use banks for business. Oh well that is my rant of this week.
Someone else draining money from my account kind of irritated me. But they do tons of BS and charge us for it.
Yes, you know what I love? When I was a poor college student, sometimes I would have maybe 10 dollars in my account. I would go and buy food and it would it take off 5 here, 4 there, 2 here...oops, over drafted by a dollar or so..it happens. But than they charge 34 dollars for that? I argue that nonsense all the time. Most expensive pound of apples I have ever purchased...36 dollars. It is one thing if you over charge 100s or 1000s. But I only ever overcharged (accidentally too of course) between .50 (yes) to 10 dollars. Plus when I deduct things in my book, the bank does it in a different order, so I have more than one overdraft fee because they process my purchases differently than how I write them down..and that includes money going in, which is NEVER processed in time to cover the over draft, that I usually notice within 24 hours...or something. Does that make sense? So I owe the bank 130 or so now because I have refused to pay an overdraft of like 6 dollars on top of the 34 over draft fee on top of other shit now.
Banks piss me off because I feel as if I'm paying more to keep my account up and stable than I am paying my bills. This whole bs with the banks going under is mind boggling considering how much money they make on overdraft charges and loan interest.
What really stinks...is if you want to pull cash out of your account, say five or ten thousand dollars...most of the time you have to ORDER it, because they don't keep that much cash around....so where is all the money????
maybe the drainer got away with the money and the bank has to eat the loss think happy thoughts. (I've actually had wonderful experiences with the bank in cases like this, they caught that there was suspicious activity within hours of it going down, fixed it, and I hope the guy who did it got nailed and the bank got their money back, but, it sounds like in your case the bank deserves to pay)

Yep out of ALL the companies in Britain, banks and bankers are the most vile. Big "bricks and mortar" banks are legalised fraudsters sometimes. However credit card company banks can be used against each other- so I just keep moving round.Plus the internat trade side can be much better than the current account twits. I think banking and finance is a "business within business".It just pays to know every one of the customer's and the bank's tricks. But people who can play the right/wrong banks the right way, do massively well, I've found.Deps what u wanna use em for?
I know it is terrible. Loan sharking is illegal. Yet if you figure the interest rate on a 50 cent overdraft, you realize the loan sharks have gone into banking.
Yes, my account has been credited. Some fuck in Checkoslovakia tried to pull a fast one. Did my bank discover this? No, the only reason they did anything is becase I noticed something was wrong. But they still can't tell me why every time I make a large credit card purchase, they call to make sure it is me. But when a withdrawal of a huge amount of money from Check. comes in, they just let it go through. Every time I go into another country I have to tell them. When I leave the USA I will have to tell them where I am going and what countries I will visit. Looks like someone was asleep on guard duty.
