people around here drive like 5 miles an hour in the rain... pretty annoying when someone actually has to be somewhere. unless its pouring so hard you cant see anything, it should be reasonable to go the speed limit.
good tires and good wipers .....and anyone should be able to drive normal speed....Its the idiots with bald tires and 5 year old wiper blades that cause the accidents

That's just it... these people think it's okay to get on the interstate, go 70MPH with their lights off in fairly visible conditions and switch lanes and ect. quickly, half the time without turn signals and such.... I thought I was going to get hit twice because 15 miles over the speed limit was not fast enough I guess... who knows.... this whole state if full of idiots I believe.

Nope there are retard drivers all over the place in all kinds of weather. Today there was a truck weaving down a major highway doing 45 mph. The dickhead was driving an 18 wheeler truck and text messaging.
it never rains here, but when it does, there are a lot of flipped over cars on the interstate..I sometimes pull over to get the change that fell out of their pockets..
Okay, it was raining like fuck today and I had a 5 hour drive. The windshield wipers were going at top speed. It was dumping down rain. I am very cautious when it is raining like that. So I am in the slow lane and letting people pass. So wtf is up with people who do not turn on their headlights when it is pouring rain? I can barely see and I always manage to get behind the Grandma drivers. So I move to the fast lane to pass. Well if the dumb fucks do not have on their headlights I can't see them very well at all. It was by sheer luck 4 different times I some how managed to see people racing up the fast lane with no headlights. Each of the times I could have pulled into the fast lane to pass the grandmas and had the dumb fucks slam into the back of the car I was driving. They would have been at fault and would also have been ticketed for not having their headlights on during a rainstorm. People are stupid.

the people who drive cautious and defensively are the ones i look out for...to me it shows weakness in driving; slow reaction, indecisive and plain ole cant-get-right. i drive on instinct. sometimes i blow through red lights...depends on my gut reaction. sometimes i pass others on the sholder...depends on available space or lack of. most times i cost through stop signs...even school crossing stop signs. if i cant find a parking space i just use the safety fire lane area. i park in handicapped spaces as well. that's just me. i look out for the abiding drivers, as they cause the most wrecks. instincts, baby.
I think this irritates me the most... I think I've summed it up to this: The general population is full of fucking idiots... I'm guessing 95%
Anyone else have issues with road glare in the rain? I can't stand it when the lines on the road are really faded and it's dark and super wet out. I do try to take it easy.
I only drive under the speed limit if it is raining so hard that I can't even see the road or a car in front of me - even with their lights on. I also have to go the long way home because the little country roads flood. If it is normal rain then I go the speed limit - I'm not dealing with the kind of fine I could get while speeding in those conditions.
