I remember reading somewhere that 4 out of 5 people look at the bowl while lighting it.

 

Are you sure man? Cuz on a Hookah there's a bowl on the top with a coal keeping it lit, and usually sheesha in there as well.

 

I'd spend $15 for that. Looks like it'd hit pretty nice.

The 1/5 are the assholes that torch the bowl and don't save any green for the rest of the circle.

 

I don't think you determine if it's a hookah or not by the substance in the bowl...or how the substance ignites.

 

yeah where do these fools get off criticising and judging others and the words they use to describe a possession.

 

hookahs usually have a hose, some have a rigid metal sippy straw type of set-up with the bowl sticking off the top from the middle east, bongs are from south east asia, traditionaly made from bamboo, if you stick a tube in a bong it is a bong with a tube in it, if you pull the hose out of a hookah is a hookah with no hose.

 

Bong - bowl is down low on the glass
Hookah - bowl is above the glass and a metal tube runs down the entire length into the water
