So my dad came over yesterday to get a few things and noticed the bags of soil, pots and stuff on my front deck. He asked me what I was growing and I nonchalantly said, "I'm just going to grow a few plants." He returned with, "What kind of plants?" and I told him, "I don't know. Maybe some vegetables, or herbs. I feel like growing something." He shook his head with a slight smirk and said, "Uh huh. Yeah...some herbs." haha
you are 22, and if you dont live with him what could he possibly do????? you think he would narc on you????? if so thats fucked up.
I don't think he would do anything. Actually, if anything, I was expecting for him to give me gardening tips. According to my grandmother, when he was my age he grew some in the backyard.
Yeah, dude, you just broke a huuuuge rule about growing, don't let other people know about it! Trust me, you do NOT want cops tearing your shit apart and it's a lot easier than you think for them to invade your privacy to do so.
If having potting soil and pots on your front porch is breaking a rule or a crime, millions of people should be in jail. I'm not going to hide regular gardening materials. That would just make everything even more suspicious.
I'm just saying, dude, be careful. I have had my house torn apart just because the neighbors told the cops we were dealers. We weren't and we aren't, but that didn't stop them. And once your sense of privacy is ripped from you, you never get it back.
True, but keepin supplies on the front porch isnt exactly the BEST idea either lol. so now the neighbors might know you're growing something, could be anything though. But, keep in mind, most 22 year olds dont grow a lot of flowers and vegtables. Keep it real tight :cheers2:
oh yeah joey id say, honesty is the best policy... he might not mind, go for it!.. not that you have to tell him, but wouldnt it feel nice to know that your dad knows and trusts you? just an idea =)
Personally, I'm waiting to tell my dad that I smoke untill I have grown some good bud and don't have any grows running. Then they'll find out and see some of my handy work...I can't wait!
Exactly. It kind of like buying tons of sudafed. Sure, there is a legitimate purpose, but, it is also kind of suspicious. Anything you have should have a legitimate use as well. Example: keep your scale with yoour stamps. That way, its to tell postage(I use mine for that too). Just start a few potted plants and you've explained away your gardening supplies.
