I'm preparing to create my dreadlocks, and i was wondering what everyone thought of other products...?

I know now that wax = bad
& that bands shouldn't be left in.

But how about shampoos, locking pepper and the rest?
    - any good?

is it just aloe straight out of the leaves or are there any aloe products you can get, maybe something scented? I know lots of people harvest it themselves but was jw if there was anything like that?

Lock peppa is made of predominately Zinc Oxide. It works well at making the hair feel extra knotty. Do I think that effect is worth the money, no. Do I think it will help backcombing work better. Yes.

I've used it. It does what it advertised but as soon as you wash the hair the knots comes loose again except those that would have stayed on their own had not even used the peppa shit to begin with.

Other products...none. I don't put anything in my hair and only wash with water. It couldn't be better. No smell, no dandruff, no itching, and no spending extra money to keep shit clean.
