With Bush assured another four years, what horrors are we in store for?

Will he change his act and learn from his mistakes in the past four years, or will he trudge on the road to destruction.

The Patriot Act scares me, and there is more to come according to Bush's plan. He wants to increase homeland security even further...

I see our liberties slowly thinning,
The Constitution slowly fading to a 'guideline', which, at one point, we MAY return to... one day.

I see war. A lot of war,
and if that comes to truth,
I see a draft along the way.

    To hell with this.

.....and unless the fucker decides to amend the constitution, after these next four years, he'll never be able to lead this country again.....

I'm glad I live in NY.

I wonder what opposition there will be? Not necessarily due to the election, but of further plans the office is going to put into effect....

Who knows what's going to happen now.

I sadly live in a highly Republican area. Everyone's for Bush left and right, save a good handful of people that I know.

I didn't hear the end of it today. Sheep.

    Bahahaha - that's all I heard.

I am glad I live in the middle of the mountains. Very little Bush will do can touch me up here. If I wanted to, I could almost forget how ignorant most of this country is. (Even though CO, did vote for Bush *sigh*)

Wake me up in four years, would ya?

You are right I am just so sick right now I could puke. Not because Kerry lost. Not even because Buch won. I am sick and disenfrachised with this country. I just don't understand how this could have happened. I am sick for our future.

Americans showed up in record number and this is what they had to say? I wish I could convince myself there was some mistake, but I don't think there was.

I see the gap between rich and poor continuing to grow.
I see an increased war effort probably in Iran next.
I see us becoming the most despised country on earth and alienating all of our allies, what few we have left.
I see the "streets running with blood" as our good old friend Osama has predicted.
I see the Arctic Wildlife Refuge dotted with oil derricks.
I see the forests of the Northwest laid to waste.
I see an army of Snowmobiles plowing through Yellowstone.
I see us pulling out of more treaties.
I see us continuing to widle down the clean air and water protections that have been cleaning up our mess.

I just don't want to see anymore.

there should be a separation between church and state, but frankly I dont see it. the church determines who gets into office.

Major problem I foresee: The renewing of the Patriot Act.

Yes, it's official. It was in their list of plans for Bush's 2nd term in office.

How ironic is the Patriot Act, in its name alone?

For those of you who do not know what this is, it is an act that probably will be passed with modifications (additions) on limiting our liberties. The government will be even more powerful than it is now.

They say its for the terrorism threat. Yeah, well, you know what? I don't trust any government with so much power over the people.

Once the governer has his hand around the neck of the governed, it's hard to let go - and at that point, it's even harder not to squeeze their life away.

I actually agree with you here. I do not believe the war in Iraq will end, but just that it is the beginning of the end. And there is nothing Kerry could have done to change this. And we should not feel fear, but overjoyed because Jesus is coming! I do not intend this post in spite, just sinceerity.

Don't you feel some extra force is nessacery in the world we are living in? If you are not a terrorist, you have nothing to worry about.

That is the most ignorant thing I've ever heard. Force is nessacery when your country is attacked, and in a world full of terror.
