So Ive had my dreads for about 2 months now and their doing great excpet I have loose hairs in my dreads like coming out of my dreads and its annoying me I want them to be in the dread. Also, I feel like their kind of flat too after a few days of not washing them they feel really almost..oily. When I first wash them they are nice and fluffy and fun. I have a bottle with water and salt to dry them out and it kind of works but not that well. Anyone have any suggestions 2months into my dreads? thank you!

2 months is not along time for dreadlocks....its gonna take quite a while before they sort themselves out, you can either leave them alone and forget about it, or you can try crocheting the hair back in or balling it up and pushing it into a root, but i wouldn't recommend this as you'll either end up damaging the dread, or the hair will wash back out or you'll spend all day neatening them up.

Or you can cut the lose hair, if theres just bits here and there, but again, i wouln't recommend it for only 2 month old dreads, the hair hasn't locked up properly yet so you don't wanna start cutting bits off

    You don't rule your dreads.

    They rule you.

    ^^

Patience is the key dude. At 2 months you'd expect all the shit to happen :D If they fall out dw! They'll sort themselves out eventually ^^
